2011 Packers re-wrote record book

Posted: 20th January 2012 by drew in nerdy news
ok, so they're not playing in the Super Bowl, but they sure did a lot of ass kicking this year!
The sting of the Packers’ early exit from the postseason may still be too fresh for some to appreciate what the Packers accomplished in the regular season, but the 2011 Packers left their stamp all over the team record book, featuring both team and individual achievements.

Wikipedia Blackout Lets In Some Light

I stumbled upon this by accident, but you can still use wikipedia today during the blackout! When you go the site or follow a link to a page, you'll see the page load before the blackout page comes up. Just hit the escape key (or I used command-period on a Mac) before the blackout page comes on. Voila, wikipedia! ;) Now, this doesn't mean you shouldn't CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE AND TELL THEM YOU OPPOSE SOPA AND PIPA!!! LEARN MORE  then DOOOOO IT!!!!!!!!!!! this is a very tragic accident, but as a nerd, i think these fancy tv's that let news people barely draw yellow lines on them digitally, are super lame.

What the hell is dubstep anyway?

Posted: 9th January 2012 by drew in nerdy news
in case you needed to know...
So, a dubstep or grime is kinda like this ultra slow, ultra dirty spawn of hip hop, but it's almost at a breakbeat speed, but it's at a halftime breakbeat speed. So it feels, like, abnormally slow, and just gives this really heavy feel.
