Have you seen the blade mqx yet? I’d have to say its the best quad rotor for under 200 dollars. 140 if you already have a spectrum radio and 180 for the ready to fly package. I’ll be ording mine very soon I hope. It’s supposed to be a pretty capable aircraft. A few upgrades and I’m sure it would be insane. Oh, and the thing is UGLY. That’s easy to fix since a few places are making custom canopies for it.

It’s tough to imagine their thought process as they decided to not only abandon their customers without notice, but also make it difficult for them to move their content elsewhere. Just didn’t plan well, or didn’t care?

You should see the ‘smart boards’ that all the local schools are installing. Many teachers are technophobic and avoid using them. Cool when they work, are installed and maintained properly – but usually don’t/aren’t

I have also had to shut down apps when my phone gets unresponsive. I dunno if you’d consider it managing multitasking – more like ditching minor-ly crashing apps

I love it! I was just teaching about greek text a couple of weeks ago and telling my students that usually printers will spot it even if you and the client miss it, but not always! LOL

Hmmmm…. I think from now on I’m going to suggest keying in FOR POSITION ONLY or FPO! FPO! or XXXXX first before placing greek text.

What up, NERDS!?!?!? Yeah, Yeast Radio is still plodding along. And according to Wikipedia, you guys started literally 4 days before Coverville. Dave talked about syncing thing between multiple machines. I’m LOVING Dropbox.com, especially because it works well in linux as well as Windoze.

A clicking drive can somerimes be frozen to get it running again long enough to get the data off.

Nice variety show. Cool stuff. Hope to see Dave in a week and a half!

Hey drew, remember how you said nobody cares that your filenames are really long because it’s hosted on mevio? I finally found a reason to not like them, turns out my car stereo doesn’t like really long filenames, and it fails reading it.. So I guess I just have to rememember to shorten the filename before I copy it to my usb drive.

I really enjoyed being on the show. Drew and Paul are great hosts! And I am glad I only made two mistakes! I updated my blog posting about the show to clearly call out the corrections and I linked to the legal definition of Bourbon, in case you want to go to that level of detail. My favorite nerd moment yet. Have more tasting shows: beer, wine, etc. What would be really cool is if you did common brands and could let us know ahead of time so we could drink it as we listen (ok, I guess I could just look at the show notes before listening). Great guest.

You could even have the tasting as the background to the tech stuff. “Today we will be talking about x while drinking y.”

Hey Drew, Paul and Thomas. Thanks so much for your interest in Tuthilltown and the informative and entertaining podcast.

A few points I wanted to address from the Podcast. Tom, lots of great info here and we really appreciate the support, but I do have to correct one point….Bourbon can be made anywhere in the United States. Its a common myth that Bourbon can only be made in Kentucky, but a myth nonetheless. The defining points of Bourbon are as follows:
1. Must be made from a mash of no less than 51% corn
2. Aged in new charred, white American oak casks
3. Must come off the still no higher than 80% abv
4. Must go into the barrel no higher than 65% abv
5. Must be made in the good ol USA.

Both our Hudson Baby Bourbon and our Hudson Four Grain Bourbon are actual bourbons made in NY State. There are other bourbons being produced in micro distilleries around the country. Keep your eyes out for some delicuious ones from Leopold Bros as well as Deaths Door Distillery.

The other clarification is on our mash bill for the Manhattan Rye. As you mentioned Tom, Rye needs to be at least 51% Rye, ours however is 100%, single grain Rye. One of the few on the market.

Other than those two clarifications, you guys are right on point. And glad you enjoyed to Rye.
