You Do Not Need to Manually Manage iOS Multitasking

while i understand this and agree, i have also needed to shut down certain apps this way that were misbehaving, such as the Facebook app. if it’s acting up, the last remembered state of the app is still in the hosed up state.

Emptying this list of applications is simply needless, mindless, busywork. It was absolutely never intended to be used this way and anyone who does this is just wasting their time.

The internet’s Go Daddy issues

i didn’t realize there was such a distaste for godaddy, and i’ve been hosting all my domains there for years. but here’s my take on the main 3 reasons:
1. i like the scantily clad ads
2. i’ve met bob parsons and actually talked to him about the elephants he’s shot after seeing the photos in his office, and it’s all about saving and feeding villages.
3. they’ve withdrawn their SOPA support

Several people asked what the problem was with Go Daddy, so here goes. (Note: I’ve never used Go Daddy for anything…just passing along information here.) Go Daddy is a domain registrar and also sells web hosting, simple web sites, and a bunch of other stuff. Some don’t like Go Daddy for the following reasons:
